How much does PlayVid cost?

PlayVid is 100% free of charge. You can watch as many videos as you want, upload as many videos as you would like and use all of the features of the site.

Why should I become a PlayVid's member?

Anyone can watch any videos on PlayVid, only members receive the full spectrum of features that are available though. Upload videos, post comments, rate videos, and fully participate in the PlayVid's experience. You can even store your favorite videos on your very own member's page, create playlists, browse other member's profiles, send them messages and see what other members are watching and talking about!

I forgot my password, how do I restore it?

I forgot my username, how do I get it?

Can I change my username?

No, but you can create a new one by signing up using a different email address.

Uploads

How do I upload a video on PlayVid?

Once you have become a member, simply choose "Upload" from the main page.

What are "tags"?

When uploading a video, we ask that you include at least a few tags that describe your video and that will make it easier for the community to find. Tags are essentially keywords that will be associated with your video and which will be referenced when users search the video collection. Suggested tags for your video could include the name of the girl (or guy) in the scene, her hair color or body type, the primary action in the scene (threesome, blowjob, anal, etc) or any other keywords that you think might be relevant.

What kinds of videos are unacceptable?

It is important that we all respect certain rules of decent community behavior. As such, we reserve the right to refuse any videos that contain content, which is illegal, harassing, harmful, abusive, obscene or hateful. What are PlayVid’s supported video files? Supported file formats are mpg, avi, mpeg, wmv, 3gp, mp4, mov, asf, and flv.

One of my uploads had “converting” status for several days?

Processing time varies greatly depending on the format of your original video, file size, and upload traffic. This could take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours. You should also expect that higher resolution formats would render more slowly. For instance, 720p and 1080p may take significantly longer to appear than 480p. If after 8 hours, you still see a status message next to the video saying Uploaded (processing, please wait), try removing the video from our site and uploading it again.

Why was my video deleted?

PlayVid remove videos that violate our terms.

A video was deleted from my favorites, why?

It might be removed by uploader or by moderator.

How do I restore deleted movies?

Unfortunately, the only way is to upload them from your computer again.

Our player requires the Flash 9.0 or higher. If you do not have the Flash 9.0 or higher, please download and install the latest version here, then restart your browser.

How do I watch PlayVid on my mobile device?

The movie keeps stopping while I am watching it. What is wrong?

It might be due to your connection speed. You need 600+kbps speed to watch all videos.

How do I delete the video from my favorites?

Go to http://www.playvid.com/my/favorites select videos you would like to delete from favorites and click Remove.
